We thought about going down one of the slides, but never did actually do it. Since we were in ports for 4 days straight, we just didn’t take the time the other days to actually try out the slide. I think the appeal of reading in the cabana lounges took over and won out over my childlike enthusiasm about actually trying the slide. Our video arcade boasts a huge array of games, and is open to players of all ages, all night and all day.

Dining and Cuisine
Each of the cabins has a safe (located in the closet) with approx dimensions (inches/centimeters) – width (10/25), height (9/23) and depth (8/20). It is advisable not to use a valid credit card (or driver’s license), but an old expired card (or some rewards card) instead. Connecting rooms ("family cabins") are located on decks 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. The bathroom’s 2-pin plug can be used only for electric razors. Inside cabins with windows have either Porthole Window (PT, on decks 1 and 2) or Picture Window (4J, on decks 6, 7, 9 and 10-Lido). Some Porthole cabins have a sofa bed for a 3rd person, some Picture Window rooms have a sofa and/or upper bed (Pullman) for 3rd/4th person.
Featured are also the Sushi Bar, RedFrog Pub, the deli, Fat Jimmy's C-Side BBQ and the poolside Lido Marketplace. Kids and adults love WaterWorks, the onboard water park with two waterslides and dozens of other ways to get wet. SportSquare, the outdoor recreation area, offers numerous games and even has a ropes course. Those who like to get their fitness routine outdoors can use the jogging track or the exercise equipment.

Extended Balcony cabins are in 2 grades – 8N and 8M (both with aft ship location). These staterooms have 50% larger balconies, 3 closets (in all grades balcony rooms), full bathroom (shower). Cove Balcony cabins feature floor-ceiling window doors leading to a private cove (partially enclosed) veranda. Balcony cabins are one of the most popular cruise ship splurges. If you plan to stay in a balcony cabin on Carnival Breeze and visit the spa, go for the Cloud 9 Spa balcony cabin if you can spare a few extra bucks. It includes access to the spa's thalassotherapy pool, steam room and sauna.
